Hands-on Project Manager with 5+ years of experience leading Agile teams and delivering complex products. This role requires deep expertise in Jira, strong ownership of sprint execution, and the ability to operate at the intersection of project management and product ownership. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with teams building AI-enabled solutions.
*Use of current AI frameworks and accelerators is a must. Product experience is a plus.*
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end project delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Act as a Jira expert, configuring boards, workflows, dashboards, reports, and automations
* Plan, manage, and run sprints, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
* Own backlog management: grooming, prioritization, dependency tracking, and scope control
* Serve as Product Owner / Product Manager when required, translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
* Work closely with engineering, data science, design, and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
* Track progress, risks, and dependencies; proactively remove blockers
* Ensure project goals align with business objectives and product strategy
* Maintain high visibility and engagement across all phases of the project lifecycle
* Support teams working with AI frameworks, understanding model lifecycle concepts, data dependencies, and deployment considerations
Required Qualifications
* *5*+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Agile environments
* Proven expertise with Jira (advanced usage required)
* Strong experience managing Scrum teams and sprint cycles
* Experience acting as or closely partnering with a Product Owner
* Excellent understanding of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid)
* Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to stay deeply engaged in day-to-day project execution
* Working knowledge of AI frameworks and AI-driven product development (e.g., model training, iteration cycles, data pipelines, evaluation)
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
