Senior Product Designer

for a

Contract

assignment with one of our premier

Regulatory

clients in

Rockville, MD.

This position is hybrid (2 days/week onsite)

Responsibilities : • Lead the design of useful, usable, and desirable products in a team environment from concept to execution. Work with leadership in design planning and goal creation. • Understand customers and their needs through customer research and feedback. • Use business requirements to help develop use cases and high-level requirements. • Design the architecture, interface, and interaction flow of services and experiences. • Develop personas, customer journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes. • Influence and inspire team & executive audiences by crafting stories using data that elicit empathy and buy-in. • Facilitate the design process, present and iterate design solutions. • Communicate design decision rationale. • Develop, pitch, and validate long-term design strategies. • Continually iterate and evolve the way we design for and learn from our customers. Educate design & PM peers on best practices.

Required

Skills : • 5+ years of experience in product design or UX. • BS Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. • Experience designing across multiple platforms and working with multidisciplinary teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes. • Insatiably curious, highly collaborative, and a great listener. • Exceptional attention to detail. • Passion for product-centric, UX-driven innovation. • Experience creating & executing user research plans, evangelizing results, and demonstrating resultant designs measurably improve customer experiences. • Experience leveraging behavioral analytics (i.e., Pendo, Hotjar) to inform strategic design decisions • Experience leveraging digital adoption technologies (i.e., Pendo, WalkMe)

Preferred

Skills : • Demonstrable ability to convert design vision into a phased implementation plan • Demonstrable ability to facilitate design-thinking sessions with multidisciplinary teams. • Experienced using higher-end graphic design tools (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) • Excellent storyteller, adept at on-the-fly storyboarding.
