Overview
A leading engineering company is seeking an HVAC Design & Technical Support Engineer to provide product selection, design guidance, and technical support for commercial ventilation and HVAC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and specify HVAC and ventilation products, providing design support to consulting engineers, contractors, and installers
- Review and analyse project specifications, schedules, and design drawings for compliance and feasibility
- Provide technical support to site teams and customers, both remotely and on-site
- Ensure projects comply with current engineering standards and directives (e.g. Part L, ERP, HTM)
- Support engineering team during Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)
- Develop bespoke HVAC solutions in collaboration with the engineering team to meet client requirements
Experience & Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar HVAC or building services role
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP xcfaprz systems
- Experience with commercial HVAC systems, ventilation, and mechanical services
