Nursery Practitioner - Level 2

Location: Flitwick Day Nursery, 20 Steppingley Road, Flitwick, MK45 1AJ

Salary: Up to £13.04 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, all year round

Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner ? Flitwick Day Nursery is thrilled to invite you to join our vibrant team! With a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, you’ll play a crucial role in nurturing and inspiring young minds.

Conveniently located just minutes from Woburn Centre PARC and Flitwick railway station, our nursery is easily accessible from Bedford, Luton, Dunstable, Milton Keynes, London, and surrounding areas.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
• Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
• Build and maintain professional relationships, reporting any concerns to management.
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
• Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and policies.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
• Fluency in written and spoken English (essential).
• Over 1 year of experience in Early Years (desirable).
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (desirable).
