As a Room Leader, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences for children, tailored to their age and development.
• Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
• Assist staff in maintaining high-quality learning journals and updating the EyLog system.
• Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility within the team.
• Support the key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
• Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
• Understand and implement the statutory framework for the EYFS.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification: Essential.
• Experience: Over 1 year in Early Years is essential; over 6 months in a senior position is desirable.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Ofsted expectations and the statutory framework for the EYFS is essential.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English.
