Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead purchasing and supplier management across their motor trade operations.

This role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier performance, cost reduction, and inventory management within a fast-paced automotive / motor trade environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver procurement and sourcing strategies
- Manage suppliers across automotive parts, consumables, tools, and services
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Drive cost savings, margin improvement, and value engineering
- Monitor supplier KPIs, performance, and quality standards
- Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and demand planning
- Collaborate with operations and workshop teams on purchasing needs
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and financial controls
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and supplier reporting
Requirements
- Experience as a Procurement Manager / Purchasing Manager / Senior Buyer
- Strong background in supplier management, contract negotiation, and sourcing
- Proven cost reduction and commercial decision-making experience xcfaprz
- Experience with ERP / procurement systems and financial controls
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Full driving licence
- Experience in automotive, motor trade, fleet, or parts supply chain
