Technical Lead (Confluent Cloud)

We’re looking for a Technical Lead well‑versed in Confluent Cloud to steer the development of robust data streaming and processing systems. In this role, you’ll shape solutions, mentor a learning‑oriented team, and directly impact client scalability. • Lead the architecture and development of data streaming and processing solutions
  
• Design and implement scalable, high‑performance systems using Kafka / Confluent Cloud
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers
  
• Take ownership of end‑to‑end delivery of streaming solutions
  
• Ensure high‑quality software delivery in a fast‑paced environment
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine technical solutions and requirements
  
• Drive best practices in system design, performance, and reliability
  

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  
• Extensive experience with data streaming platforms such as Kafka
  
• Technical leadership experience
  
• Experience with scalable, distributed software systems
  
• Hands‑on experience configuring and managing Kafka clusters
  
• Expertise in Kafka Connect for integrating with various data sources and sinks
  
• Knowledge of Kafka security protocols and best practices
  
• Ability to design and optimise Kafka topics, partitions, and consumer groups
  
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools specific to Kafka and Confluent Platform
  
• Knowledge of cloud services from AWS, Azure, or GCP in relation to Kafka deployment
