• Oversee, challenge, and validate all L1-L3 commissioning activities across Apto’s Data Centres and Sub‑Stations, ensuring GC, vendor, OEM, and commissioning partner deliverables — including documentation, test scripts, evidence, and issue logs — meet Apto’s standards and accurately reflect the approved design intent.
  
• Direct, lead, and provide Apto sign‑off for L4 Functional Performance Testing and L5 Integrated Systems Testing across both Data Centre infrastructure and associated HV/MV Sub‑Station systems, ensuring full end‑to‑end readiness for energisation, IST execution, grid integration, and customer acceptance.
  
• Manage and coordinate commissioning partners, OEMs, GC, MEP contractors, OFCI vendors, Design, Quality, and Operations, ensuring alignment between construction, commissioning, and operational outcomes.
  
• Provide technical assurance through equipment inspections, compliance verification, risk identification, and resolution of commissioning‑related quality or design issues.
  
• Govern all commissioning reporting, including dashboards, progress updates, readiness assessments, issue logs, and audit‑grade evidence packages.
  
• Oversee the completeness of turnover packages, including O&M manuals, training materials, red‑line drawings, and operational readiness documentation.
  
• Ensure a seamless handover to Operations, guaranteeing systems are tested, verified, documented, and safe for Day‑1 utilisation.

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
  
• 8-15 years’ commissioning experience in hyperscale data centres or mission‑critical facilities.
  
• Proven leadership delivering L0-L5 commissioning at scale.
  
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BMS/EPMS, load banking, integrated system testing, and power systems.
  
• Experience managing commissioning vendors and multidisciplinary teams.
  

• 
  
• Data‑centre construction, design or OEM/vendor commissioning background.
  
• Certifications: CxA, CCP, LEED, PMP or equivalent.
  
• Familiarity with BSRIA, ASHRAE, and hyperscale commissioning frameworks.
