Network Security Engineer

• 10+ years industry experience, including 5+ years in network security or cyber engineering
  
• Strong experience securing enterprise networks using NGFW, SD-WAN, and NAC technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ISE, Meraki)
  
• Expertise in network segmentation, secure remote access, third-party connectivity, and cloud networking
  
• Experience embedding security controls within operational network environments
  
• Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP Security, or equivalent
  

• 
  
• Strong understanding of defence-in-depth and zero trust networking
  
• Ability to translate security policy and risk into practical standards and controls
  
• Experience analysing firewall policies, traffic flows, and network logs

• Strong stakeholder engagement with network operations, NOC, and engineering teams
  
• Experience integrating network telemetry with SIEM/SOC monitoring
  
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud networking architectures
  
• Broader cyber engineering experience (e.g., cloud security or email security)
