This position is responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities: Desktop & Application Virtualization:

Design, deploy, and manage Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), DaaS, and Virtual Apps environments, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Network & Server Virtualization:

Design, deploy, and manage VMware & VXRail environments, ensuring infrastructure performance and scalability.

System Management & Automation:

Manage and monitor enterprise systems, including Azure, NetApp, Rubrik, Microsoft 365 stack, and data center infrastructure. Manage Windows Server based environment (cloud & on-prem), including AD, DNS, DHCP, SQL Server, IIS, File and Print services Automate routine tasks using scripting tools for increased efficiency. Implement and maintain backup, security, and disaster recovery strategies.

System Optimization & Performance:

Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks. Proactively recommend and implement upgrades, patches, and new technologies to optimize performance and security. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

User Support & Training:

Provide tier 2/3 technical support to users and junior ITS team members on various system and application issues. Develop and deliver training sessions on new technologies and procedures.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and regulations (HIPAA, NIST, etc.).

Education:

Associate's degree

in Information Technology or related field (experience may substitute). Current certifications

from Citrix, Microsoft, VMware, NetApp, or similar enterprise systems preferred. Qualifications:

2+ years of experience

in Information Technology, preferably in healthcare. Proven experience with Citrix VDI

- Citrix Certified Associate or Professional (CCA/CCP) preferred. Experience with other system platforms:

Azure, VMware, NetApp, Rubrik, Microsoft 365 & Windows Server administration, data center infrastructure. Strong understanding of system administration, including server management, storage, and networking. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
