Coding and Abacus teacher

Best Brains Learning center located in Rockville, MD, is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to teach Coding and Abacus, and knowledgeable programmers to teach courses in Scratch, Python and Web Development to students ranging from ages 7 to 14 years old. All teaching material is provided. No lesson planning, no grading.

These part-time positions run throughout the year.

Requirements For Abacus :

1. Prior knowledge of Abacus is a huge plus

2. Strong communication skills and ability to communicate to parents about students' progress

3. Teaching experience is required

4. Motivated to learn and teach Abacus, training materials(videos & practice worksheets) will be provided

Requirement For Coding:

1. years technical experience is preferred.

2. Must have experience teaching in a classroom with Elementary/Middle school levels.

3. Long-term commitment is preferred.

4. Must have reliable transportation.

5. Experience in working with and teaching coding.

6. Skilled and Energetic individual who can make learning fun.

7. Must have great communication skills and the ability to speak to parents about students' progress occasionally.

8. Arrive at the center on time.

9. Teach the required concept to the students and ensure they understand it.

10. Other responsibilities may be assigned.
