Mechanical Design Engineer
Location : Greater Milwaukee Area
Position Summary :
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing team focused on commercial and industrial HVAC projects. The position will involve designing HVAC systems for a range of projects, including K-12 schools, higher education, hospitals, food processing, retail, and grocery stores. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities :
Design HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects, including load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
Work with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure system designs meet project needs.
Provide direction to CAD technicians and ensure designs are executed according to project specifications.
Solve design issues during project execution and collaborate with the team to implement effective solutions.
Contribute to the development of project documentation, specifications, and schedules.
Qualifications :
8-10+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, specifically with commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Strong understanding of HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, and system design.
Experience designing HVAC systems for projects such as K-12 schools, hospitals, food processing, retail, and grocery stores.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
A P.E. license is preferred but not required.
