Purpose of Position:

Applications Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and installation of gimbal systems on unmanned and manned aircraft. This position will respond to customer queries, provide on-site support, and assist customers in solving complex technical issues. Application engineer will be responsible for leading team at system level including mechanical, electrical, and software integration of Trillium gimbals.

Summary of Essential Job Functions: Document customer defined requirements and respond with current and future planned gimbal performance specifications. Travel to customer demo sites for support or product operation training. Maintain and develop customer training procedures. Assist Program Managers in updating Customer wiki to monitor integrations and program tasks. Support gimbal flight testing for performance and new feature evaluation. Perform data analysis of gimbal performance and assist in developing new performance testing metrics. Work with Customer, RMA, and Quality teams to capture product issues and root cause analysis. Shares technical information and training with other teams. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science required; Masters degree preferred. Experience with stabilized gimbal systems and unmanned aircraft operations. Experience with direct customer support and project task management. Experience with vibration isolation design, analysis, and troubleshooting. Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. Four years of relevant experience, preferably in application engineering, highly preferred. Physical Demands of Position:

Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment) Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information. Competencies and Skills Requirements:
