BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

We are seeking an experienced BI Analyst with strong understanding of data analysis and reporting, and creating visualizations to present to stakeholders.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST SKILLS

5-10 years as a Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting. Experience working with Outage data/Outage Management data. Experience with Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel and experience w/ BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, or Power BI. Experience w/ SQL. Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and leadership skills.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST DAY TO DAY:

Support the BAU side checking job health, report health, data quality issues, etc. Business intelligence (BI) analyst will focus on supporting outage teams as well as focusing on quality of service. Analyst will collaborate with internal data teams to ensure data is available without any quality concerns. Will gather requirements, view critical tasks, schedule meetings, and lead presentations and meetings with cross functional teams and leadership. Provide application analysis and data modeling design to collect data for centralized data warehouse. Extract data from databases and data warehouses for reporting and to facilitate sharing between multiple data systems. Standardize data collection by developing methods for database design and validation reports.
