Applications Engineer - North Kingstown, RI

Our client, a global manufacturing technology solutions provider, is seeking an Applications Engineer to join their team.

As an Applications Engineer, you will be part of the Product Engineering team supporting Manufacturing and Engineering. This position requires 70% travel to customer sites and is a combination of sales support and hands-on application and product engineering work.

Fresh Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering Grads are highly encouraged to apply!

Job Title: Applications Engineer (Contract to Hire)

Location:

North Kingstown, RI

Pay: $33-$34/hr+ DOE plus OT and benefits

Key Responsibilities

Conduct hardware and software product demonstrations for customers.

Communicate product benefits for complex applications effectively

Prepare operating instructions and conduct training programs.

Develop and optimize programs/applications to meet customer specifications.

Provide technical support and maintain positive customer relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree preferred in an Engineering discipline, Mathematics, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

0-3 years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or similar environment

Quality Inspection Experience

PC-DMIS experience highly desired

Ability to travel up to 70%
