Internal Auditor

Auxilia Group Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor on behalf of our client, an established company within the retail sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in Co. Sligo. The role will involve travelling to company sites in Sligo, Roscommon and Mayo.

• Plan, execute, and report on operational, financial, and compliance audits
  
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls across key business processes.
  
• Conduct risk assessments to identify control gaps and emerging business risks
  
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports outlining findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations.
  
• Present findings to management teams and support them in implementing corrective actions.
  
• Support the development and enhancement of internal audit frameworks and risk-based plans.
  

• 
  
• Professional accounting or auditing qualification: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CIA, or equivalent.
  
• 2+ years post qualification experience within industry, preferably the retail sector.
  
• Experience auditing or analysing financial and operational processes.
  
• Strong understanding of risk management, control frameworks, and audit methodologies.

• Full clean drivers\' licence and own transport required.
