We’re looking for a detail-driven Inventory Accountant to join the Supply chain and Logistics finance team. This is a pivotal role within the business, partnering with vendors, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure strong financial control and accurate inventory management.
You’ll play a key role in supporting supply chain product management, order management, in-transit analysis, month-end close, and day-to-day financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a dynamic, multi-vendor environment while contributing to high-value, company wide initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing- Partner with the business to support product management while maintaining robust financial controls and defined processes
- Provide financial oversight and support for logistics transactions
- Support order management processes, escalating issues to the Oracle support team where required
- Track and manage in-transit inventory, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies
- Deliver monthly accounting, analysis, and reporting for logistics expenses and inventory
- Work closely with SCL and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate accounting of costs and stock provisions
- Liaise with key suppliers to ensure financial information meets required standards
- Produce high-quality ad-hoc and recurring reports within agreed deadlines
- Build strong working relationships across internal departments and external partners
- Support wider finance and business initiatives as required
- Actively contribute to major, multi-million company wide projects
- Finance Degree
- Part/Fully Qualified or finalist (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / CPA)
- Experience xcfaprz in financial and management accounting, reporting, and controls
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience working with inventory
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience within Supply Chain & Logistics
- Experience with Oracle (desirable)
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Self-motivated with a strong team-player mindset
- High attention to detail with ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
