Senior Pharmacist

We are currently seeking a Senior Pharmacist to join a reputable hospital in Galway, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a high-quality clinical environment.

Permanent | Part-Time (22.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the safe and effective preparation, dispensing, and management of medications within the hospital.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care in collaboration with medical and nursing teams.
• Provide clinical guidance and support on medication use, safety, and optimisation of therapy.
• Promote and monitor medication safety, regulatory compliance, and best practice standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing service development.
• Support the management and supervision of pharmacy staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high performance.

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligible for registration.
