Automation Engineer

Assist with automation for modernised and legacy systems, infrastructure, and services. Conduct planning, design, scheduling, and control of automation projects to support new product development. Contribute to key performance indicators and support organisational initiatives.

• Build equipment and control systems and help determine reliability and need for updates.
• Compile automation project requirements to support resource management and maintenance.
• Coordinate assessments to determine regulatory compliance and identify necessary improvements.
• Contribute to automation deliverables and ensure adherence to deadlines.

• Honours degree in Mechanical, Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or Automation
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications
• Working knowledge of quality systems (e.g. FDA/ISO) within a regulated environment
• Commissioning and validation experience
• Experience in a process engineering role
