This 3-year apprenticeship (Level 5) will immerse you in a dynamic environment at our Reading Innovation Centre, where you’ll receive top-notch training within our Research & Development department. You’ll collaborate with project teams, taking ownership of real-life projects that directly impact our business.

• Work in regulated laboratory environments, adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.

• Learn scientific techniques to measure product performance, stability, and safety, supporting the entire product cycle from innovation to launch.

• Analyze data from testing, identify trends, report findings, and apply scientific methods to solve problems.

• Create and formulate chemistries for grooming and beauty care routines for our iconic brands.

• Plan and conduct laboratory investigations and experiments using specialized techniques.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and effectively communicate scientific information.

Note: You’ll be on-site at our Reading R&D Centre 4 days a week for hands-on learning. One day a week will be dedicated to online vocational learning for your BTEC Level 5 HND, with some practical elements at Millennium Point, Birmingham. P&G will cover travel expenses to Birmingham in line with our Travel & Expenses Policy.

• Comprehensive Training: Receive full training with a dedicated project supervisor and manager. Upon successful completion, earn a Level 5 HND qualification in Applied Science (Chemistry or Biology Pathway).
