AI & Computer Vision Engineer

Job Description

Core4ce is hiring a highly skilled AI & Computer Vision Engineer to provide technical expertise in machine learning, deep learning, data science, image science, and computer vision to support our client in the Springfield, VA area. This role involves developing, testing, and integrating cutting-edge AI/ML techniques for automating data analysis, processing complex imagery and video data, and supporting operational GEOINT capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, ML, data processing, and geospatial visualization tools, as well as experience in research environments, technical exchange meetings, and operational transitions.

Responsibilities Provide technical support in AI/ML, deep learning, data science, image science, and GEOINT collection assets and data sources. Analyze and process multiple data types and formats, including still imagery, video, and motion data, using data encoding, compression, APIs, and software development kits (SDKs). Perform image and video processing to support algorithm development, model training, and evaluation. Develop and refine ML-based automation techniques, integrating human performance measurements and training data for improved decision-making. Work with government stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement GEOINT visualization capabilities. Create novel 3D modeling and simulations to support network analysis and pattern-of-life analysis in research environments. Implement advanced human-computer interfaces and multi-modal interaction techniques for enhancing geospatial visualization tools. Evaluate research performance metrics and collaborate with scientists and technical teams on cutting-edge research projects. Coordinate research testing and evaluation, including writing training and test plans, and facilitating transitions from research to operational environments. Engage with IC and DoD agencies on joint research projects, ensuring alignment with mission needs and emerging technologies. Requirements

13+ years of experience with a MA/MS degree, OR 15+ years of experience with a BA/BS degree in a relevant field. Highly proficient in utilizing ArcGIS Pro and performing various types of GEOINT related analysis Familiarity with AI/ML algorithms for automated geospatial data processing and pattern recognition Experience supporting AI/ML applications, computer vision, or data science in mission-critical environments. Expertise in image processing, video analysis, data encoding, and geospatial technologies. Strong understanding of GEOINT operations, data sources, and collection assets. Ability to develop and integrate ML-based automation tools for operational GEOINT applications. Experience with visualization software, 3D modeling, or simulation frameworks. Proficiency in APIs, SDKs, and software development methodologies for system integration. Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex technical projects, technical exchange meetings, and working groups. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
