Job Summary:
The Hardware Applications Engineer is primarily responsible for increasing design wins in the Consumer space by supporting customer integration of our devices from start to finish in their projects. A basic understanding of RF component design should be known as many of our products are used to enable customers in meeting SAR regulations while still providing high performance to their customers. This position will also be expected to design evaluation boards for our devices so that that they can be used by our team as well as customers in evaluating / showcasing the device usage. Hardware developed may also be used as proof-of-concept solutions that show the device in a realistic application to allow for better product display.
Responsibilities:
Customer Support and Engagement: Provide technical support to customers, addressing any questions or issues to enhance customer satisfaction as well as increasing design wins in the Consumer space. (25%)
Validation and Testing: Validating new devices on the bench to ensure device meets specifications for the application(s). Ability to use lab equipment such as but not limited to multimeters, oscilloscopes, and waveform generators to test the device from internal and external (customer) requests. (25%)
Design and Development: Create and develop evaluation boards that allow customers to evaluate our sensing products. (20%)
Documentation: Create guidelines for customers and the field to properly use our device. (10%)
Collaboration: Work closely with other application engineers, marketing, design as well as product/test to ensure customer needs are understood and addressed to provide high performance products. (10%)
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in consumer products and where we can incorporate innovative solutions. (10%)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years' experience in the Semiconductor industry
Experience in PCB layout/schematic design using Altium
Experience with lab instruments for RF
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Sensor Fusion preferred
Experience with the following communication interfaces SPI, I2C, 1-Wire, and UART. I3C and MIPI RFFE.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $91,000 - $130,000. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee's total compensation package.
