Job Description

Role Overview: TÜV Rheinland Group is a global leader in independent Testing, Inspection and Certification services As the Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in running our daily accounting operations. You will be responsible for all matters of accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Handles daily accounting operations, including but not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll accounting, utilities, treasury, cash forecasting, and revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
  • Perform other tasks like tax reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial closing and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as a finance representative.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
  • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles,
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP HANA).
  • Advanced level of English both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
