We are looking to recruit a plant/construction mechanic/fitter to join our busy team at our Rushden Plant Hire depot.
We are looking for someone who is confident dealing with plant & small tools, with a good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems.
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the industry with relevant industry-based qualifications.
Have experience of working on Mini Excavators from 1t to 13t, site dumpers, ride on rollers, Telehandlers as well the full range of small tools that are associated with this industry.
Be able to inspect and diagnosis faults with various types of plant & construction machinery
Carry out repairs and servicing both on site and in our depot workshop
Be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
A full UK driving license is essential for this position
Forklift Truck Certificate would be advantageous, however not essential.
Full time, permanent position
Depot operating hours: 7.30am- 5.30pm Monday to Friday
No weekend work
Hourly rate £17.00 to £19.50 per hour, based upon experience established during interview process
Auto enrolled onto the company pension scheme
28 days paid holiday per year including bank holidays
