We are seeking an experienced, motivated and skilled farm Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a 162 Acre Milking platform, 20 aside Herringbone parlour with ACRs, & 40 Acres out farm (10km away)

• 
  
• Manage and operate the farm to a consistently high standard.
  
• Integrate fully into the farm team while supporting and upholding the farm’s values and ethos.
  
• Introduce and implement protocols aimed at improving overall farm performance.
  
• Carry out twice-daily milking while maintaining excellent milking routines.
  
• Maintain Somatic Cell Count (SCC) levels below 120.
  
• Ensure the milking parlour and surrounding areas are kept immaculately clean at all times.
  
• Provide the highest standard of livestock care, including feeding, health monitoring, veterinary treatments, lameness management, and ensuring constant access to clean water.
  
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date herd health and medical records.
  
• Manage all aspects of herd fertility, maintaining empty rates typically between 4–7%, including tail painting, heat detection, and drafting.
  
• Communicate and liaise professionally with farm owners, staff, relief milkers, contractors, and neighbours.
  
• Maintain farm fencing to a high standard.
  
• Operate dairy farm machinery and equipment safely and responsibly.

• Previous experience in a similar dairy farm role.
  
• Ability to take full responsibility for farm operations when required.
  
• Full clean driving licence.
  
• European passport holder.
  
• Strong English communication skills.
  
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  
• Ability to contribute positively to a small farm team and improve team dynamics.
