Compliance Officer

Our client is a government-appointed not-for-profit organisation at the centre of Ireland's national environmental infrastructure. They operate a large-scale, compliance-driven scheme with a mandate to reduce waste, lower emissions, and support a circular economy. It is a small, dynamic team with a clear national purpose and significant room to grow.

As Producer Manager, you will lead the Producer and Distributor function, ensuring the scheme's membership base remains compliant, its data is accurate, and its reporting obligations are met. Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for onboarding, product registration, regulatory reporting, QMS governance, and risk management across a broad cross-functional remit.

• Leading the Producer team across OKRs, performance management and capacity planning
  
• Managing Producer and Distributor membership, including onboarding, contracts and compliance
  
• Overseeing product registration, testing and data accuracy
  
• Managing regulatory reporting cycles, including monthly declarations and SUPD submissions
  
• Owning the QMS, including SOPs, audit preparation and documentation
  
• Maintaining risk registers and driving mitigation planning
  
• Delivering strategic projects using professional project management disciplines
  

• 
  
• 5+ years in a senior operational, compliance, regulatory or reporting role
  
• Proven people leadership and team development experience
  
• Strong project management skills, milestone-driven and risk-aware
  
• Data literate with experience in reporting, validation and process improvement
  
• Experience in Quality Management System and SOP development. xcfaprz
  
• Comfortable in high-compliance, audit-ready environments
  
• Confident communicator with credibility across regulatory bodies and senior stakeholders
  
• Experience with waste management is a plus
