Your key responsibilities
- Support the Stewarding Manager in overseeing the stewarding operation across all hotel areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation.
- Act as deputy in the absence of the Stewarding Manager, ensuring continuity of operations and consistent leadership.
- Lead and coordinate the stewarding team during assigned shifts, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
- Assist in staff scheduling and daily workforce planning to ensure effective operational coverage.
- Ensure the availability and proper handling of equipment and materials for kitchens, service areas, and events.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and service teams to maintain smooth and well-coordinated operations.
- Monitor stock levels of detergents and consumables, supporting cost control and avoiding shortages.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and internal standards, while identifying opportunities to improve processes and organisation.

What you bring to the job
- Previous supervisory experience in stewarding, cleaning operations, or a similar role within hospitality.
- Ability to lead a team during shifts, providing clear direction, support, and motivation.
- Strong sense of responsibility, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Good communication skills in Portuguese and/or Italian and English.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems (e.g. scheduling tools, stock control, internal systems).
- Swiss or EU citizenship required due to work permit regulations.
