*Overview*
Sound Productions is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented *PIM Manager* to lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of product data management and vendor integration processes.
This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and seamless flow of product information across all systems, while also strengthening integration and relationships with our vendor partners. Acting as a central hub between external partners and internal teams—including eCommerce, warehouse, sales, and purchasing—this individual will combine leadership, technical aptitude, and process expertise to enhance operational efficiency and support scalable growth.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead, develop, and manage the product data (PIM) team, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and performance standards
* Own the end-to-end lifecycle of product data, including collection, validation, enrichment, integration, and ongoing maintenance
* Serve as the primary liaison with manufacturer and vendor partners, driving improved data quality, standardization, and submission processes
* Develop and manage vendor integration strategies, including data feeds, templates, and onboarding processes
* Collaborate cross-functionally with eCommerce, warehouse, sales, and purchasing teams to support product launches, updates, and operational alignment
* Ensure product data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across ERP, PIM and eCommerce platforms
* Drive timely execution of product data and integration initiatives, consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines
* Manage multiple concurrent projects, including new product onboarding, data cleanup, system enhancements, and vendor integrations
* Establish and enforce data governance standards, workflows, and best practices
* Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and data quality
* Troubleshoot data discrepancies, integration issues, and system-related challenges in partnership with internal teams and external vendors
* Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to data quality, onboarding speed, and vendor performance
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field
* 5+ years of experience in product data management, PIM, vendor integration, or within a distribution/eCommerce environment (AV industry experience preferred)
* Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team
* Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
*Technical Aptitude Requirements*
* Strong technical proficiency and comfort working across multiple systems, including PIM platforms, ERP systems, and eCommerce tools
* Experience with vendor data integrations, including structured data feeds, templates, and/or API-based workflows
* Ability to quickly learn and navigate new software, databases, and data structures
* Experience working with detailed product specifications, technical documentation, and structured data (attributes, taxonomy, categorization)
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, imports/exports, validation, large dataset management)
* Understanding of system integrations and data flow between platforms (APIs, EDI, or similar processes is a plus)
* Ability to translate complex technical product information into structured, customer-facing content

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
