A growing UK-based enterprise SaaS client of ours is seeking a Sales Director to lead its commercial growth strategy. The company provides a specialist SaaS platform used by professional services organisations to improve workforce planning and operational performance. This role requires a hands-on commercial leader who can combine strategic thinking with active sales execution. You will lead the commercial team, drive revenue performance, and play a key role in the next phase of the companys growth journey. This is not a purely managerial position; you will be expected to lead from the front, supporting complex sales opportunities and ensuring the team consistently delivers against targets. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the sales strategy and growth plan aligned with company objectives. Lead and manage a commercial team of c.89 people, including five direct reports across sales and marketing. Drive revenue growth, pipeline development and deal conversion across the business. Support and lead strategic sales opportunities, including direct involvement in deal closure. Ensure clear accountability, forecasting and delivery against sales targets and timescales. Align sales, marketing and product functions to maximise market opportunity and lead generation.
