*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Software QA Test Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our software products across various platforms. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to design and execute comprehensive testing strategies that uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences. Your expertise in automation, performance testing, and system analysis will drive continuous improvement and help us maintain high standards of software quality assurance.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Perform manual and automated testing.
* Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
* Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
* Conduct regression, functional, usability, and performance testing.
* Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
* Participate in sprint planning.
* Provide feedback on product usability and overall quality.
* Maintain detailed testing documentation and reports.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
* Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
* Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
* Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
* Basic knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
* Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman or REST clients.
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
