Home Instead is a non-medical senior care organization specializing in companionship and personal care for seniors and special needs patients residing in their private residences or in a facility.
We are looking for CARING and COMPASSIONATE individuals with or without experience in this field to become a part of our Home Instead family and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.
*Duties include, but are not limited to:*
* Companionship
* Light housekeeping
* Meal Preparation
* Medication reminders
* Errands
* Transportation to & from appointments
* Activities of Daily Living such as dressing, grooming, feeding, incontinence care, and transferring
* Specialized care such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
*Requirements to be a caregiver:*
* Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect
* Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
* *You must possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance.*
* *Minimum age of 21*
* Background Check, DMV check, and drug screen
Locations:Guilford, Madison, North Branford, Branford, Killingworth, Wallingford, East Haven, Old Lyme, Clinton, Higganum, Northford and the surrounding areas!
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
Work Location: In person
