They are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to design scalable data solutions, optimize reporting infrastructure, and transform complex data into actionable insights that support strategic growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities : • Create effective and efficient reporting solutions, dashboards, and user interfaces using tools such as PowerBI or similar. • Expertise with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as extensive experience with a variety of databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) • Expertise with Advanced SQL Programming and DAX querying languages • Expertise with analytic tools including but not limited to: PowerBI, Tableau, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SSMS, and SQL Server Master Data Services. • Conduct data discovery within database schemas to classify data and develop clear business definitions. • Assemble simple and complex data sets and data models aligned to business requirements. • Integrate new and existing data sources into a sustainable data repository. • Maximize the use of reusable objects (data sources, stored procedures, functions, report objects). • Migrate and enhance legacy analytics and reporting systems. • Automate manual processes and improve data performance. • Distinguish between current operational needs and long-term strategic analytics requirements. • Adhere to established Data Governance Standards. • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively across departments.
Qualifications : Required : • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered • 2–4 years of related experience and/or training in business intelligence, data analytics, or data development • Strong SQL and relational database knowledge • Experience with ETL processes and data integration • Ability to create scalable dashboards and reporting solutions • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Adaptable, open-minded, and solution-oriented • Ability to communicate effectively and consistently with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Commitment to data accuracy, governance, and process improvement
Preferred : • Experience in financial services or a credit union environment
