Local candidates preferred This product area is reporting analytics. He provides clients with standard redports (health and welfare). Internal / external clients. They help visualize data that external clients bring them. Legacy system going to FHB. His team creates standard reports that existed in legacy platform.
Required Skills: OBIEE -SQL -OAS -Power BI (migration to Power BI will happen some time next year) so its good to have some experience. Understanding of different data warehousing and database platforms (Oracle, Snowflake, Data Bricks, Microsoft SQL Server) -data modeling nice to haves: Python cloud

The Role
As a Senior Data Engineer supporting Workplace Investing (WI) - Healthcare Group (HCG), you are deeply entrenched in building data infrastructure, with a passion for using tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient data environments that best serve our business.
In an Agile structure you work closely with the Product Owner, Data Analysts and Data Modelers assigned to squads across product areas to build scalable, flexible, and detailed data solutions that will improve the WI-HCG product offerings and speed time to market. You help to drive conformance to the WI-HCG data strategy and Enterprise Data Taxonomy.
You collaborate with other Data Engineers to establish and continually revisit standards for your IT Chapter. You influence strategic designs and build solutions to help scale our business. You are committed to staying hands-on, developing your own expertise and knowledge to bring the latest thinking to your role and to empower others with that knowledge.

Our Chapter Area builds outstanding experiences for Fidelity Health Care customers. We focus on crafting rich and compelling experiences using the best application design guidelines by way of robust tooling to provide healthcare benefits and management. We work in a collaborative, fast paced environment, and are committed to advancing a digital strategy to the delight of our customers.
The Squad is also responsible of the migration to AWS Cloud and Snowflake.
The Expertise You Have
B.S. degree in math, statistics, computer science, or equivalent technical field. 9+ years of experience in designing and delivering data lake, data warehouses and reporting platforms. Expert database knowledge and proven experience with data analysis as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Expert analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets. Extensive experience manipulating, processing, and extracting value from multiple large datasets. Fluent in SQL, Python, and Airflow. Extensive experience working with data warehouse solutions; Snowflake preferred. Experience with Cloud technologies; AWS preferred. Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure alignment to modern data engineering methodologies and principles. Experience in DevSecOps standards and tools like Jenkins Core and GitHub. Experience in delivering DaaS (Data as a Service). The Skills You Bring
Extensive experience working in team-based environment with a constant focus on leading, mentoring, and encouraging others. Critical thinking and the ability to work in an Agile environment. Effective communication and influencing skills to integrate into an inclusive culture. Strong problem resolution skills required. Enthusiastic desire to learn new skills, emerging technologies, and industry trends quickly. Experience working with healthcare benefit or financial data is a plus. The Value You Deliver
