Your RoleWe are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, skilled, and innovative teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will:
- Support the education of children across the South region.
- Provide guidance to foster carers, schools, and a network of professionals.
- Advise on educational provisions and monitor the progress of children.
- Assist in developing educational support policies and procedures.
- Attend multi-disciplinary team meetings to align with childcare and personal education plans.
- Liaise effectively with professionals to ensure each child’s educational needs are met.
- Promote strong relationships with schools and local authority professionals.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Relevant classroom experience
- A flexible and creative approach to supporting children’s education
- Strong decision-making skills to resolve complex educational issues
- A working knowledge of the educational needs and entitlements for children and young people
