Join our growing team as a Distribution Center Associate in Salt Lake City, Utah! We are looking for dedicated individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our warehouse. This role involves a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. You will play a key part in our logistics chain, ensuring that products are handled with care and accuracy. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses good physical stamina for lifting, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and logistics.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for the duration of the shift.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Eagerness to learn and perform various warehouse tasks.
