Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods in and out of our distribution center. You will be responsible for handling incoming shipments, verifying inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
  • Accurately record all received goods into the inventory management system.
  • Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing shipments.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and PPE.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, contributing to overall team success.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a plus.
