Join our thriving logistics team in Boise, Idaho, as a skilled Forklift Operator. We are seeking a certified and experienced individual to expertly maneuver materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, transport inventory, and assist in order staging. A thorough understanding of warehouse operations, logistics best practices, and stringent safety protocols is essential. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess excellent spatial awareness, and be committed to maintaining a secure work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Move inventory to and from storage locations, including racking systems.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices in logistics.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety-toed boots and high-visibility vests.
