We are seeking a certified and experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our advanced logistics facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently moving and stacking inventory within our high-density racking systems. Your primary focus will be on safe and precise operation of the reach truck to optimize warehouse space and facilitate timely order fulfillment. This role demands a high level of skill, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure seamless logistics flow and accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses excellent spatial awareness, and adheres to all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload trailers accurately and efficiently.
- Retrieve and place merchandise on shelves and racks.
- Conduct daily inspections of reach trucks and report any issues.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures related to material handling and logistics.
- Perform other warehouse duties when not operating the reach truck.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse environment.
- Valid certification for reach truck operation is required.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning skills.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including steel-toed boots and high-visibility clothing.
