We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our vibrant team in Washington, D.C. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked from inventory and meticulously packed for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a direct role in customer satisfaction by upholding high standards of accuracy and efficiency. This position requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, perform physically demanding tasks including regular Lifting, and maintain exceptional attention to detail. You will utilize scanning technology and warehouse equipment to fulfill orders. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict Safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or handheld scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, using appropriate packaging materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, staging them in the correct shipping lanes.
- Receive and restock returned items as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as required.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse/fulfillment role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent Lifting (up to 45 lbs), standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Reliability and punctuality.
