Become a vital part of our logistics operations as an Order Picker in our San Jose, California facility. We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment. In this role, you will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, locating specific items based on order manifests, and ensuring the correct quantities are picked. Precision and efficiency are key to this position, as your accuracy directly impacts customer satisfaction and inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and a deep understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting and stand for extended periods. Experience with order picking equipment and warehouse management systems is advantageous, and we provide thorough training to ensure your success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
- Use of scanning equipment to record picked items and update inventory.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support overall logistics operations.
- Perform regular lifting and moving of products as part of the picking process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety guidelines and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
- Willingness to follow instructions and contribute to a safe work culture.
