We are looking for a dependable Material Handler to join our Columbus, Ohio warehouse team. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution processes. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. Key duties include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment; loading and unloading trucks; and assisting with order fulfillment by picking and packing products. This role requires physical stamina, as it involves significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly) and prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. Adherence to all Safety guidelines and procedures is paramount, and you will be provided with the necessary PPE , including safety shoes, gloves, and vests. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment and providing ongoing safety training. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas and production lines.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Follow all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
