We are seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our fulfillment center in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are key to ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Package items carefully and securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow all instructions regarding safe Lifting and handling of merchandise.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily targets.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing role or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including Lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding and strict adherence to Safety procedures.
