We are hiring a Picker/Packer in Sacramento, California, to become a key member of our fulfillment operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Package products securely and appropriately for shipping, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the appropriate use of PPE.
- Adhere to all instructions regarding Lifting and safe handling of goods.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding and adherence to Safety regulations.
