Join our vibrant team as a Picker/Packer in Phoenix, Arizona! We are seeking energetic individuals to contribute to the efficient processing of orders in our busy warehouse. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and prepared for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, confirming product details, and then carefully packing them for transit. We prioritize a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Your contribution directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately into shipping containers, considering product fragility and size.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Meet daily picking and packing targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Capability of Lifting packages weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE.
- Familiarity with the logistics of order fulfillment is a plus.
