Join our growing team as a Warehouse Supervisor in Tampa, Florida! We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to oversee our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a safe working environment. Your leadership will be critical in driving productivity and achieving operational excellence within our logistics framework. We are looking for an individual with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in warehouse management. This role involves direct supervision of warehouse associates, performance management, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. We emphasize a culture of safety, and you will be instrumental in promoting best practices, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to handle multiple tasks, problem-solve effectively, and foster a positive team environment is essential. Occasional requirements for physical tasks involving moderate Lifting may be present. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional in the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Address operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics.
- Uphold a strong commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of PPE.
- Be prepared to assist with tasks involving moderate Lifting as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Ability to handle moderate Lifting and other physical tasks occasionally.
