Are you an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you at our Seattle, Washington facility! As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse logistics by ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will also be involved in loading and unloading trucks and assisting with inventory control. The ideal candidate possesses a current forklift certification, a minimum of (X) years of experience, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols. Familiarity with various forklift types and experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) are highly desirable. This role requires physical fitness, including the ability to perform tasks involving manual lifting when necessary. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Place received items into designated storage locations.
- Retrieve items from storage for outgoing shipments.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records with scanner usage.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Perform tasks that may require some lifting.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE.
