Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in our bustling Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility. We are looking for energetic individuals to contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and stocking to picking and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and store inventory in appropriate locations within the distribution center.
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using pick lists and scanning devices.
- Pack items securely and prepare them for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, following all Safety guidelines.
- Properly wear and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily productivity targets within our logistics framework.
- Perform tasks that involve regular Lifting and movement of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is beneficial but not required for motivated candidates.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
