Join our growing team as a Receiving Clerk in Austin, Texas! We are seeking an organized and diligent individual to manage the inbound flow of goods at our facility. You will be responsible for accurately checking, documenting, and storing all incoming shipments, ensuring our inventory records are up-to-date and precise. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, requiring a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in warehouse environments, comfortable with physical tasks including some Lifting, and dedicated to maintaining a safe workspace. You'll be working within a dynamic team and must adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE. Your accuracy and efficiency in this role directly contribute to the overall success of our supply chain. We value reliability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload incoming shipments.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and any signs of damage.
- Compare received goods against shipping documents and purchase orders.
- Accurately record all received inventory into our system.
- Organize and store incoming stock in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the receiving dock.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams regarding shipment status.
- Uphold all warehouse Safety standards and protocols.
- Must be able to perform Lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Participate in regular inventory audits and checks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and vests.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and perform physical tasks.
- Understanding of basic logistics and supply chain processes.
