Our busy logistics hub in Phoenix, Arizona, is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage outgoing shipments. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all orders are accurately prepared, documented, and dispatched according to schedule. You will work closely with our warehouse and transportation teams to maintain efficient operations. A strong understanding of shipping procedures and a commitment to Safety are essential. We provide all necessary PPE to ensure a secure working environment. Your accuracy and efficiency will directly contribute to our customer satisfaction and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Generating shipping labels and preparing necessary documentation (e.g., bills of lading).
- Coordinating with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Verifying order accuracy before dispatching.
- Maintaining organized shipping records and files.
- Communicating with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Ensuring packages are properly secured and prepared for transit.
- Adhering to all Safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar administrative/warehouse role.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following Safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
