We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is essential for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload materials, transport goods to and from designated areas, and assist with inventory management. A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packed items within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues or necessary maintenance.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must be able to perform occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and equipment operation.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and perform occasional lifting.
- Attention to detail and good observational skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Good communication skills.

We prioritize a secure working environment, and adherence to safety protocols, including the use of PPE, is mandatory. Experience with various types of forklifts is essential.
